Lucas's 1st Christmas

As I was buying gifts for our families this year Ryan asked me to make sure we got something for Luke. It's his 1st Christmas. He is 9 months old. Aunt Carebear helped him open the gift from us. We got him a cute outfit that had a matching hat and then the lion that has a mirror on one side. I thought he would think it is fun. We love him so much. We are so thankful Mark and Erin finally got him and their family is complete. Luke is a very special little boy. We wanted him to know we love him and Merry 1st Christmas.

Perfect Present.....P.J.'s

This was so priceless. Here's the kids in their new P.j.'s Lyn made.

Jacob said"These are so cool, Wow these are great."

Marli was twirling around in her new P.j.'s just like I used to when I was a little girl. Marli said"They're beautiful, the perfect color and they make me feel like a princess." Then she kissed them.

Christmas P.j.'s

Grandma Lyn made the grand kids the cutest p.j.'s. When Jake and Marli opened them they hugged the Jammie's and shouted"OH I love Them". I love them too. Ma'Lynn did a fabulous job making them. They are perfect. I've always wanted someone to make my kids Jammie's. I told Lyn this need to be a tradition. Each year the grand kids get homemade Jammie's from her. What could be better? Absolutely nothing. Now if she could just make them in mommies size. Thank you Lyn you are the best!

The Cousin Gift Exchange

This year we decided to have each of the cousins exchange a gift to one cousin. Koby and Jacob exchanged a gift. Kamri and Marli exchanged a gift. It was really fun. All the kids loved what the other one picked out for them.

Christmas Eve

We took the kids over to Ryan's Mom & Dad's on Christmas eve. Lyn made a wonderful dinner. After dinner Grandpa Reuel and the grandkids reinacted the night Our Dear Savior was born. It was so precious.

Erin and Mark's beautiful angelic son Lucas was"baby Jesus". Jake and Marli were supposed to be Mary and Joseph, they however weren't as in character as sweet Kamri and Koby. We decided after watching kamri with Luke that she made a far better Mary then marli. Kenzi was just happy walking around checking everyone out. It was a so special to the kids and to me. I'm thankful this has been a family tradition.

Our Neighbors Our Friends

Ryan and I have always been blessed to have wonderful neighbors that have turned out to be great friends.

We have a couple that lives across the street. I wish I could find a picture of them. Their names are Gary and Linda. They are the neatest people. They don't have kids. They're a little older then us. They have two beagle dogs Hannah and Jesse. Every holiday they do such neat things for our kids. Linda brought over gifts for all of us last night. The kids have been waiting to open the gifts. Last night at 10:30 they asked if they could open the gifts from Gary and Linda. Ryan said "No they are Christmas gifts". Jake pleaded and pleaded. Finally Ryan said they could ask Linda and Gary if it was OK to open them early. I wouldn't let them call them that late. Today when Jake saw Linda he asked her. She said he needed to ask us. We explained to her that it was OK if she said so. She said the perfect answer,"Sometimes when you have several gifts to open it's OK to open one early". Jake told her he loved her and she told him she loved him. I got teary eyed. They have a really cool relationship. These stand out from the other presents under the tree. The wrapping paper is absolutely adorable. She wrapped Jake's gift in the frog paper that I will save forever. She wrapped Marli's gift in the cutest dog paper. Which is so perfect. Marli is a dog lover like Gary and Linda. We are so thankful for these wonderful people. The kids love them as much as we do. The gifts she gave all of us were so perfect. When I think of gift giving Linda does it so well. She gives because she genuinely wants to and she gives gifts that are so absolutely perfect. I don't know how she does it. I'm so grateful for her. She's one of my card making buddies. Although she makes elaborate cards that I can only strive to, she puts up with me. I'm a begginer and have technical difficulties on every project we make.

Saturday Fun In The Snow

We finally got some snow yesterday. The kids have been waiting forever to go sledding.

There is an awesome hill down the street from our house at the soccer field. We took the kids and had a blast.

Jake was a little scared at first. The first time down the hill Ryan went with him. After that he wanted to go down by himself.

Sledding Fun

I think I had as much fun as the kids today.

When the kids went down the hill their laughs were completely contagious.

Winter Wonder FUN

The kids think it's hilarious to throw snow at me.

We had so much fun together today.

When all the snow melted a couple weeks ago the kids were so upset. When we woke up to lots of snow yesterday they were thrilled.

One Red Sled, Four People, Hundreds Of LaughsAnd Memories To Last A Lifetime

Ryan pulled Jacob home on the sled. He spun him around and around. They had a blast.

These little people climbed the hill over and over and over. They never got tired.

Snow Angels

Jake layed down on the soccer field and made a snow angel. He wouldn't get up for what seemed like forever.

When he finally got up he scooped up snow to make a snow ball. Which he threw at me of course.

Sugar Cookies

The kids decorated these sugar cookies at Jacob's pre-school party. The had lots of sprinkles and candy on them. YUM-YUM-YUM!
