Jacob's Christmas program

Jacob had his pre-school program tonight. He was a tin soldier. Their was 6 soldiers.
Last year Jake was terrified and wouldn't go up on the stage. I was so upset with him. He's really grown up the last few months. He said he's been working really hard on his program. When we got to the school he was so excited. He went up on the stage took his place and did an amazing job. We we're all so proud of him. I think he was proud of himself. He has a grin from ear to ear.

8 days until Christmas

We have this adorable snowman that is an advent calendar.

Everyday the kids take turns moving the snowflake that is on a string to the next day. It's been really fun. Jake knows the numbers and thinks it's really cool.

A Blanket For Marli

I've wanted to make Marli a "minky"(kind of fabric) blanket for a really long time. I found this fabric the day after Thanksgiving. She wasn't supposed to see it until Christmas. I was working on it downstairs in my scraproom. She came down saw the fabric and was so excited. She helped me cut out the squares and stayed with me "helping" me with it until we finally got it all done. She says it's so soft. She points to the purple and the pink squares and says they are her favorite. She loves the blanket. I'm glad it turned out. It's yummy. The fabric is the softest.

Happy Day!

We got home after a long day and the kids were being so fun. I grabbed the camera and got the two cutie pies to actually give me some great shots. Normally when I get the camera out they turn into jello and make weird faces at me. I hope you think they're as fun as I do.

The Gingerbread House

Jacob made this gingerbread house at pre-school today. The kids thought it was fun to eat the candy off of it.

HIP HIP HOOORAY

The kids were being so cute today. They were dancing and singing. I grabbed the camera to capture them being so fun.

Santa at the mall with all the cousins

The magnificant seven. It was a day we were able to get all the cousins together and take a picture with Santa. The kids didn't exactly cooperate. All in all it was ok. Kamri was such a cutie she smiled while the others looked on and wondered "how much longer?" Poor Mckenzi cried and wanted no part of it. I gave Jacob and Koby a quarter to play a pinball came, they got a gumball out of it and were attempting to chew it when we finally got them all situated.

We met Ryan's family at the mall to get the cousins picture taken with Santa. It didn't exactly work out the way the Mom's had hoped. It was fun and it will be a picture of all the kids together we'll always remember.

Saturday Fun With Our Little Buddy

We were happy to have Jesse come to our house today. Melissa was working and Eric had some projects to work on. We love it when our little buddy comes over to play. We always have the best time. The kids get along so well.

Jesse loves fruit snacks. He thought it was pretty cool that he got his own bag.

The kids played and watched a movie together. Jacob loved that Jesse had a car shirt like him. Too cool.

The Handy Man

Ok so as you read this post I want you to think of the song "The candy man" by Sammy Davis Jr.

The Handy man can.....

Make all the world right. He can fix all your problems in a blink of an eye. The Handy man can repair all your troubles. He's got the exact tool for the job. The Handy man can overhaul that washing machine. Put in a new timer and make it good as new. The Handy man can.

I love my dad he's my very own Handy man. I would be in big trouble without him. My dad does so much for us. He went and picked up the new timer for my washer and fixed it. Guess how much he charges for labor and delivery???? You'll never guess. He asks in return to watch my kids. WHAT??? The repair man from Dennings charges $75 service call and $80 bucks an hour to diagnose and repair. Oh man what a blessing my handy man is. He changes oil in our cars, takes the cars in to get the tires rotated, washes and vaccumes out the inside, picks up prescriptions, takes Jacob to pre-school and picks him up, fixes any thing you ask him to and watches my kids while I work. All for hugs and kisses. That's his payback...a hug. I think I could clone this man and make Millions. What do you think? I am so so so BLESSED. Thank you Dad. You are the best. The most amazing thing is half the time he does things without me asking or knowing. Unbelievable.
